Injury Rehabilitation

At RISE we offer a variety of treatment techniques to help you become pain-free and address the underlying issues that created the problem. We don’t know what treatment techniques will work best until we know what the problem is.  Once we have done an assessment, we will know what tissue is injured and why that tissue is injured so we can create a treatment plan to address the pain and fix the underlying issues that are causing the pain. Treatment techniques we may use are:

Injury Rehabilitation

Injury Rehabilitation

To effectively treat a golf injury, we must determine what is damaged and more importantly how it got that way. We use information form your Golf Physical Assessment and golf swing analysis along with a detailed history determine what movement imbalances or compensations lead to the injury.  We then develop a comprehensive rehabilitation program to correct these issues. We will use a patient specific combination of soft tissue therapy, manual therapy, acupuncture, electrical modalities, strengthening and motor control drills to address pain, improve tissue healing and optimize your body to move efficiently and return to golf without pain.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on approach to healing and recovery that targets muscles, tendons, and joints to reduce pain, improve movement, and support overall well-being. Whether you're managing stress, recovering from injury, or enhancing athletic performance, massage helps restore balance and function to your body.

**While we’re currently in the process of hiring a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), we hope to offer massage therapy services very soon. Stay tuned—this valuable addition to our rehab and performance team is coming soon to RISE!**

Acupuncture

Custom Orthotics

Our goal is to normalize nervous system activity, increase local blood flow, and improve the soft tissue bio-chemical environment.

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a precise peripheral nerve stimulation technique, in which fine solid needles (acupuncture needles) are inserted into anatomically defined neurofunctional sites, and stimulated manually or with electricity for the therapeutic purpose of modulating abnormal activity of the nervous system and/or the endocrine, exocrine and immune systems, in pain syndromes, functional problems, and any diseases in which these modulatory mechanisms are available. Neuromodulation occurs through neurological and neurohumoral mechanisms at multiple levels, namely: peripheral nerves, spinal cord, brain stem, brain and cerebellum.  Image 1 Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is mechanism-based, not disease-based. Therapeutic goals and treatment targets are selected based on the identified neurological dysfunctions contributing to the clinical presentation of the symptoms.
